The Honey Club
The Honey Club is a social enterprise which aims to create an evolving and expanding network of bee caring communities in urban spaces — protecting bees, improving urban environments and encouraging local exchange. Bringing together high-profile backers, local businesses and young people, it is a combined venture by Wolff Olins (providing brand expertise), Global Generation (specializing in youth engagement) and Urban Bees (expert apiarists). The initiative artfully presents its ambitions for sustainability, education and connection in its tactile materials, personality-filled packaging and extraordinary hands-on events.
The visual system is based on a honeycomb-grid that is visible only when filled with patterns and illustrations.
The exhibition Beetopia was created to support the initiative, with 25 illustrators offering their individual perspectives.
