→ Branding an institute where art meets nature.
Inhotim is a unique open-air museum in Brazil, where contemporary art and nature come together. Each year, new projects by invited artists keep Inhotim in constant transformation, offering visitors a fresh experience every time. The museum features around 700 artworks, displayed both outdoors and in over 20 galleries set within a tropical garden of 4,500 rare plant species, creating an experience that is deeply connected to nature. To reflect this, we designed a mark inspired by light and shadow, using a typographic stencil as a subtle nod to the natural environment. The resulting brand system is bold and highly adaptable, seamlessly applied across a wide range of publications and initiatives spanning art, music, community, architecture, and botany. We also developed a line of exclusive products to extend the museum experience beyond its grounds.
