Mo:vel

In 2015 the British shoe brand Mo:vel commissioned a series of patterns for their new collection inspired by Brazilian music styles. At that time, Brazil was attracting global attention, in the run up to the 2016 Olympics. The country is naturally associated to joy, beauty and rhythm, which should be visually translated into a colorful collection of shoes.

The Bossa Nova pattern pays homage to 1950's and 60's album covers, with geometric shapes made with typographic arrangements and blank spaces.
